Sledmere Stud graduate Revolutionary Miss is the gift that keeps on giving for her Triple Crown Syndication ownership group and added another major Pattern Race victory to her remarkable race record when landing the Group 2 Rose Of Kingston Stakes (1400m) on Turnbull Stakes Day at Flemington.

A first-crop daughter of Russian Revolution, Revolutionary Miss recorded her seventh career win at start number 28 — having already posted five Group 2 or Group 3 successes, in addition to having also finished runner-up at Group 1 level on two occasions.

What sets Revolutionary Miss apart from the vast majority of other racehorses of any description is the fact that she has now won at Group race level as a 2YO, 3YO, 4YO and 5YO. It’s a feat rarely achieved!

As Saturday’s winning rider Mark Zahra put it: “She’s a beauty. She’s such a good ride — jumps quick, takes a spot, found a little gap and then was tough late. She’s a jockey’s dream.”

After beginning her career with Randwick-based co-trainers Peter and Paul Snowden who plotted her remarkable career path until the beginning of the current racing season, Revolutionary Miss is now prepared by Ciaron Maher out of Cranbourne.

Speaking after Revolutionary Miss’ latest black-type success, Maher remarked: “She came to us in very good order. [She] Probably came to Victoria six weeks ago from Sydney… and she’s returned [to competition] really well.”

Maher added: “It’s just very pleasing to see us get a few runs on the board for Triple Crown, new clients, and hopefully we can go on into the spring.”

Presented as a member of Sledmere Stud’s 2021 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale consignment, Revolutionary Miss was purchased by Triple Crown Syndications for $195,000. Saturday’s success took her earnings to $1,751,030 following seven wins and seven placings since her first start on January 1, 2022.
